the TEN TIGERS KUNG FU SCHOOL in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (the Association founded in 2002) is a resource among others, where one can learn about the Chinese SHAOLIN STYLE system of HUNG GAR KUNG FU, which is descended from the lineage of SHAOLIN TEMPLE TEACHER " HUNG HE GOON" through lineage to "WONG FE HUNG" to disciple "LAM SAI WING" who taught his son, our Grand master "LAM JO" teacher of, my Sifu, "BUCK SAM KONG" who taught myself " DON MORRISON" and Simo "LINDA MORRISON."
I AM THE ORIGINAL HUNG GAR KUNG FU INSTRUCTOR IN TULSA ,OKLAHOMA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA SINCE 1977. Any one teaching Hung Gar in the Tulsa area are either an ex-student or one of my descendants. NOTE: ( Sometimes a Teacher will give a worthy student to his master for further training, Thus becoming his brother. )
The TEN TIGERS name comes from two sources, The TEN TIGERS of CANTON, and the TEN TIGERS in the form FU HOK meaning TIGER CRANE. Discipline and Hard Work is at the core of the meaning of KUNG FU. "Family Values" are important in the teaching of this martial art. (CAUTION) There always are those who would reject part of their lineage to gain prestige by claiming to have a famous master.
Sometimes Kung Fu is referred to as CHINESE KARATE. That is not too far off base. Many of the styles of Karate in Tulsa and surrounding areas have their beginnings in different forms of Kung Fu. The method of MARTIAL ART one wishes to study should satisfy oneself.,
Our school also teaches the CHOY LI FUT system and SIMPLIFIED TAI CHI a Yang style as supplemental training. We also teach 3 methods of CHI GUNG, for those wishing to improve their health and INTERNAL STRENGTH through correct breathing, meditation, and gentle in place exercises.

I have been impressed for years with the picture of the SHAOLIN TEMPLE PAINTING , it shows people from all over the Asian continent coming together practicing their martial art and showing each other new skills.
