Lion Dance

When we first opened our school in Tulsa in 1977 we always knew we would get a Lion for the Lion Dance.  It was expensive for us but finally in 1979 we finally ordered one.  At that time it had to be ordered from Hong Kong.  It took several months to arrive by ship.  Below are pictures of things we have done up to the present day.  We still have the original Lion.

1980 Was a good year for the school, we had a lot of fun and were able to do some things for a good cause.

THIS YEAR WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DANCE FOR THE ASIAN FESTIVAL

 

Here to the right you see the Lion standing at the sight of the Lucky Greens on the floor.  He will eat them then spit them back for good luck.
